SHE LOVES ME featuring Ms. K

According to our director, Bryan Bergeron:

Considered by many to be the most charming musical ever written, SHE LOVES ME is a warm romantic comedy with an endearing innocence and a touch of old-world elegance. The Mikos Lazlos play Parfuemerie, on which it is based, has inspired many adaptations, including the beloved film YOU’VE GOT MAIL starring Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks.

SHE LOVES ME features music by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick (Fiddler on the Roof) and book by Joe Masteroff (Cabaret), She Loves Me was nominated for five Tony Awards in 1964.

The 1993 Broadway revival won the Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival, the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Revival of a Musical and the 1994 Critics Circle Award for Best Musical, while the 2016 Broadway Revival snagged the Tony Award for Best Scenic Design (beating Hamilton!).

Look!! Ms. Kristin is on the poster! What has that cad done to me? And how do I recover my reputation?

According to Ms. Kristin:

Isn’t this a marvelous poster!! I’m so excited to open on March 11th with Anthony DeTrano, Jenny Logue, Christos Tsocanos, Eric Hopper and a great cast/crew.

I get to portray the ditsy and flirtatious “Ilona” portrayed in the Broadway revival by Jane Krakowski.

I’m blessed with significant stage time including two solos “I RESOLVE” and “A TRIP TO THE LIBRARY” along with a samba pas de deux called “ILONA.”

I believe the unofficial rating would be PG — including situational comedy, off-stage gunfire, smoking, and drinking.

Come to Surfside Playhouse at 301 Ramp Road in Cocoa Beach for a jolly good time! Get your tix at https://app.arts-people.com/index.php?actions=11&p=1.
